Ashford Festival in the Park July 18th & 19th

Now in it’s 5th successful year. Ashford’s free Festival in the Park is a two day event showcasing bands and local talent. Kent link was happy to sponsor this years event with the supply of 3 articulated trailers that were used for the main stage.

Kent Link supplied five vehicles in this years Ashford carnival. These vehicles where decorated by Ashford Air cadets (305 squadron) (1st place) Godington park play group (2nd place) John Wesley school (1st place) Star struck beats dance school (3rd place) and Ashford’s “Find a voice”.

This new vehicle was recently supplied by Sparshatts of Kent, and sports the new Kent Link express livery. It will be used to service Europe along side our already extensive fleet of Sprinters and small vans. Kent Link's express and courier business is growing constantly and is a testament to a reliable cost effective service.

A long awaited order of two new DAF XF 105's EURO 5's finally joined the KENT LINK fleet. These vehicles will be used to service UK and Europe.

Please be advised that having held our fuel surcharge rate static for the past year, effective 1st March 2008 we will be implementing an increase of 1% on all current rates for Domestic & European Road transport.

We have continued to absorb increasing costs for the past year, but now feel it necessary to implement the above increase to ensure our service levels are maintained to all our customers. We thank you for your continued support during 2008.
